What's New with the Trax?
After skipping a model year, the Trax returns for drivers in Sparta, MI, with a makeover. A longer wheelbase provides more rear legroom and a larger cargo capacity. While the last Trax offered just two trim levels, the crossover now has five trims to choose from. The Trax now comes standard with the same 137-horsepower turbo three-cylinder engine as the Chevy Trailblazer.

All new Trax models have the same engine options for customers in Cedar Springs: 1.2-liter turbocharged I-3 engine with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. All models come with front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission.
Design

The Trax comes standard with an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, while an 11-inch touchscreen is available. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard. Chevrolet Safety Assist is standard, and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and a following distance indicator.
